Is it just me or did January just fly by?! I can’t believe Valentine’s Day is only a few weeks away! Valentine’s Day is definitely one of my favorite holidays. I love everything about the occasion: all the pink, all the hearts and most importantly, showing the people I love how much I appreciate them. Today, I’m talking about fun Valentine’s Day gift ideas for the man in your life! From practical coasters and printable love notes to the super adorable MY M&M’s, I’m covering it all today!

I’ve known my husband for a long time- we were actually high school sweethearts! So I am very familiar with all his likes & dislikes. I know that he loves a nice, tall glass of diet soda while he watches TV. I know that his favorite sport of all time (to watch & to play) is baseball. I also know that he really enjoys doing little, thoughtful things for me every single day! From waking up early with the kids (to let me sleep late) to running out to get me a mocha cappuccino drink, he’s always going above & beyond for me! So I’m very excited to be preparing these sweet gifts for him!

Perfect Gifts for Him on Valentine’s Day

DIY Tile Coasters

Coasters are a super practical gift! My husband loves his ice-cold sodas and he also loves his hot teas & coffees, but all those drinks tend to leave water spots on the tables. So, gifting a set of coasters serves a practical & functional purpose. I love that these coasters are so easy & quick to make, and they can be personalized with any set of decorative scrapbook paper you have.

Here’s what you’ll need!
Supplies:
4″ square ceramic tiles (from the home improvement store)
scrapbook paper
paper cutter
narrow washi tape
decoupage medium
paint brush
small felt pads (furniture protection pads)

Directions:
1. To give the edge of the tile coasters a more finished look, I wrapped some narrow washi tape around the whole perimeter of the tile.
2. Cut the scrapbook paper so that it is slightly smaller than the tiles.
3. Using the paint brush, apply the decoupage medium to the top of the tile. Adhere the scrapbook paper squares and let dry. Apply another layer of decoupage medium on top.
4. On the bottom of the tile, place four small felt pads to protect tables & counters from any scratches.

Whether he’s enjoying an ice-cold soda or a hot tea, I know these coasters will be a useful & well-received gift!

MY M&M’s

One thing I learned early on about my husband is his love for M&M’s, one of America’s most iconic candies! MY M&M’s is amazing because it merges America’s most-loved chocolate with the ability to personalize. So it’s sure to make any occasion more special, from Valentine’s Day to Birthdays to Weddings and more!

My husband loves all the different varieties and always has a bag or two on hand! So when I learned about being able to customize a set of M&M’s online, I jumped at the opportunity! I knew this would be the perfect gift for him! It was so easy to customize MY M&M’s. Here’s how it all went down. I visited this webpage here! The first step is to select up to three colors, so I picked blue, orange & white. I know those are his favorite colors!

The next step is to add images to the M&M’s. You can either upload your own custom image or use one of their clip art images. Since my husband is the biggest baseball fan ever, I knew I needed an image of a baseball. And since this gift is for Valentine’s Day, I also wanted a love-themed image! So I navigated to their Valentine’s Day clip art section and found so many cute hearts & love-themed messages. I selected the adorable “HUGS & KISSES” message! Here is what MY M&M’s looks like at this point!

And the final step is to add some custom text! I thought it would be cute to add “Doug & Jenn” for our names. I love that it’s so personalized! You can create your own blends with 25 colors to choose from, and then add a personal touch with your own photos, messages and clip art!

I know my husband will be absolutely in love with this gift! It will be shipped right to my doorstep shortly and I can’t wait for its arrival!

Printable Love Notes

I love doing simple, romantic things like leaving a little love note to my husband to let him know how much I appreciate him! So I made this really simple image of a heart with the phrase “i love you because…”

I printed out a sheet of them and added my personalized messages to them!

I plan on scattering these little notes around the house in the days leading up to Valentine’s Day!
