Transform plain dresser knobs into pretty pieces of art DIY

March 17, 2014 1 By EngineerMommy

I’ve had this plain white dresser for a few years now- since Sophia was born. I already lined the drawers with bright, colorful contact paper, but now those boring, old white knobs were staring me in the face. They were plain and uninspiring. Let me work my magic on them!

So I took the knobs off, gathered my supplies, and let my creativity fly!

Supplies Used:

  • Craft paintbrush
  • Acrylic paint
  • Glittery Nailpolish
  • Modge Podge
  • Metallic silver washi tape

Here is the Before Shot:

I like the finished product a lot.

It looks so much better. And so much more interesting!

This dresser is in the nursery, where I’ve personalized so much of the décor. See my tissue paper pom poms here, my nursery wall art here, and my closet dividers here.
