There’s something really delicious about the combination of chocolate and almond! I’ve made Chocolate Almond Energy Bites before and the whole family loved them! They were gobbled up in no time by everyone in the house! So I thought the same flavors would be amazing in a drink form- a Chocolate Almond Shake! It was so easy to whip together this delicious recipe! And you probably have everything you need in the house already!
Chocolate Almond Shake
This Chocolate Almond Shake recipe requires ingredients that you may very well have in the house already and is totally adaptable! If you don’t love almonds, you could totally substitute another nut or leave it out altogether! I absolutely love the taste of this shake and have made it many times for breakfast! With a little extra protein powder, it can totally be satisfying and keep you full & satisfied for longer periods!
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and puree until smooth.
- 2. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy cold!
