So it’s the Summer and the temperatures are horrifyingly high! I don’t love Winter, but I really don’t love Summer! Ha! The humidity and heat just don’t agree with me.

When the temps are rising, there are some changes to my beauty routine that must be made. I thought I’d share with you all here some of my favorite Summer-specific beauty products!

Summer Beauty Essentials {my morning routine}

So, my #1 product this time of year is an anti-frizz product for my hair. Since most days this time of year are so hot & humid, I need a product in my hair to keep it under control. This is my favorite product to achieve this control and I’ve been using it for a few years now.

I also need a good mattifying powder. I tend to sweat glow this time of year. Ha! So I need a powder that will help keep the shine down. This is a new product that I’ve only recently tried, but I do like it.

A simple stain on the lips is all I really want during the Summer months. No full-on bold red lips for me! This is a product I’ve had in my beauty arsenal for a long, long time.

Even though it’s Summer, I still like to slather on some hand cream, and this peppermint one is refreshing and lovely! The mint scent even cools me off- kinda!

And my final product is this one. I recently received it complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. And it’s basically leg makeup, intended to make minor blemishes and imperfections disappear. During the Summer, I’m constantly wearing shorts or skirts, so I like to help my legs look their best. And this product delivers. It works well, looks natural and doesn’t rub off!
