Dollar Store Pumpkin Craft: Spooky Topiary
October 2, 2015This easy Dollar Store Pumpkin Craft is a fabulous way to take those plastick-y orange foam pumpkins from the dollar store and transform them into something fun and festive for the Halloween season! This is a really simple & straightforward craft project and costs next to nothing to put together! For this project today, I actually started with the pumpkins that were the result of this project! Here is what my final pumpkin topiary looks like!
Dollar Store Pumpkin Craft: Spooky Topiary
Pretty good for dollar store pumpkins, right? Wanna know how I made that using (mainly) dollar store materials? Here’s the easy tutorial!
Supplies:
3 dollar store craft pumpkins
matte black spray paint
alphabet stamp set
white & orange stamp pad
google eyes
hot glue
Directions:
1. Using hot glue, attach your pumpkins one on top of the other to form a topiary.
2. Spray paint the pumpkins with matte black paint.
3. Using the stamp pads, stamp on the word “BOO” in multiple places all over the pumpkins!
4. Using the hot glue, adhere the googly eyes to various spots on the pumpkin topiary!
Done!
How easy was this craft?! Sophia actually had a blast helping me stamp the words onto the pumpkins! You may be able to spot the ones that she stamped on!! 😉
