Coconut Lime Sugar Scrub
December 28, 2014This Coconut Lime Sugar Scrub is a yummy-smelling, DIY beauty product that is so simple & quick to whip together. If you like to make your own beauty products, then you have to try this scrub. You only need a few ingredients (that you probably already have in your pantry) and a small mixing bowl. Then you have a luscious creamy exfoliating body scrub that is sure to tantalize your senses the next time you’re in the bath or shower or wherever!
I’ve made a homemade sugar scrub before- namely, this Vanilla Lavender Sugar Scrub. And I keep it near my bathroom sink and I use it to exfoliate my hands every night. It’s such a decadent way to prep my hands for a nice, emollient hand lotion.
This recipe today for Coconut Lime Sugar Scrub is based on the previous version. But this one has a twist!
Coconut Lime Sugar Scrub
Coconut Lime Sugar Scrub
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- zest of 1 lime
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut
Directions:
Simply mix all the ingredients in a small bowl. Store in an airtight glass container. To use, simply scoop out a small portion with your hands and mix with water. Scrub your hands and enjoy the soft, sweet-smelling finish on your hands.
