Green tea ‘bubble tea’ drink

March 9, 2012 0 By EngineerMommy

I love me some bubble tea drinks. I get them everytime I’m at Chinatown and I make them at home whenever I can. Here is my recipe for a Bubble tea drink made with green tea.

Green tea bubble tea drink

  • 1/4 cup tapioca pearls
  • 1 green tea bag
  • 1 cup milk
  • honey, to taste
  1. Cook the tapioca pearls in boiling water for ~25 minutes until they are soft and translucent.
  2. Meanwhile, in a separate mug, steep the green tea bag for 4-5 minutes with 1/2 cup boiling water. Add honey to taste.
  3. Scoop the tapioca pearls into a large clear glass mug. Top with the green tea and warmed milk. Enjoy warm.
