Glamorous Dollar Store Pumpkin {Halloween craft}

Want to make some fun pumpkin crafts for Halloween?! During one of my recent trips to the dollar store, I picked up 3 craft pumpkins and I will be sharing three different (possibly more!) ways to spruce up a dollar store pumpkin! They don’t have to be stark orange, plastic-y pumpkins forever! They can be glamorous white pumpkins featuring a gold spiderweb and black spiders!! Like today’s little project! This one was so simple to put together and only cost me the pumpkin itself- which was $1! I love a bargain craft project!

If you follow me on Instagram, you might remember I posted a shot of the three orange pumpkins I picked up from the dollar store!!

In addition to the pumpkins themselves, here are the other supplies I used:
Supplies:
white spray paint
gold thumb tacks
black spiders
hot glue

Directions:
1. Spray paint the pumpkins white.

2. Use the thumb tacks to “draw” spiderwebs on the pumpkins.

3. Adhere a few spiders to the pumpkins with hot glue!

Voila! Done!

Such an easy way to spruce up a dollar store pumpkin! And make it more glamorous!

Because (almost) everything looks a little better with gold thumbtacks!! :)

And don’t forget to stay tuned to see what I did with those two other pumpkins!!

  3. The Dollar Store is such a great resource for crafting. There are so many small items and if you have a mind for re-purposing items then it can definitely be a treasure trove of finds for you! And at such low prices you can take a chance on some items you aren’t quite sure how you might use!

  4. I love how these pumpkins turned out! I love finding goodies at the dollar stores they can be so much fun to dress up and change. I really like how well the spiders pop on your pumpkin with the white pumpkin.

  9. I wish I was crafty because these ideas are great! I just don’t have the patience to do projects and I feel like they always turn out horribly. I never would’ve thought to use tacks to make a spiderweb, such creativity.

  10. I love the pumpkins! The Dollar Store is my go to store for my arts and craft projects. They have a wide selection of items for any kind of DIY project you can think of. And yes, the prices are unbelievably low.
