Tips to Keep Your Canvas Prints Looking Great
September 16, 2020This is a sponsored post written by me for CanvasChamp. All opinions are mine alone.
Transforming your family photos into personalized wall decor has never been easier. I recently received this gorgeous 16×20″ canvas print from CanvasChamp and I’m absolutely obsessed with it. So today I’m going to share some more details about the process of ordering my canvas print, along with some general tips on keeping your canvas art (or any wall art) in excellent condition.
1. Avoid direct sunlight.
It’s always a good idea to keep artwork out of direct sunlight. In general, UV rays can cause inks to fade over time. However, keep in mind that the canvas prints from CanvasChamp are actually UV-resistant so prints from this brand will look great for years to come.
2. Avoid large temp fluctuations.
Hanging artwork over the fireplace may look nice but keep in mind that the high temperatures may cause damage to the canvas and the wood over time. Instead pick a spot in your home with more consistent temperatures. A hallway, bedroom or living room are all great spots.
3. Dust your print often.
Use a feather duster or a light brush to wipe down your canvas every few weeks. Never use any abrasive chemicals or any stiff-bristled brushes.
4. Avoid touching the canvas with your hands.
Our hands typically have oils on them and touching your brand new canvas may leave fingerprints and smudges behind. If you absolutely must pick up the canvas with bare hands, hold it from the sides/top rather than the front of the canvas.
If you’re wondering about the process to order this canvas print, it couldn’t have been any easier. The online software at CanvasChamp makes it easy to customize every aspect of the finished piece, including the size, border, wrap, hardware and finish. I chose a black edge on my canvas and I absolutely adore it. I think it adds such an elegant, finished look to the overall piece.
By the way, my canvas print was delivered very quickly and was so well-packaged. I have ordered hundreds of items online over the years from various retailers but this canvas was honestly one of the better-packaged shipments I’ve ever received. If you’re wondering, the canvas prints come with free built-in mounting hardware. Easy peasy!
Did you know that CanvasChamp has sold over 2 million custom photo prints since 2012? All canvases from the company include a lifetime warranty with guaranteed replacement. Currently, my canvas is sitting on this picture ledge in our hallway with a few other pieces that are special to our family. Every time I walk by it, I smile.
I’m so thrilled with the quality of this piece!
In addition to the canvas prints, there are other personalized gifts from CanvasChamp that make excellent choices: personalized photo pillows, wall displays, metal printing, photo mugs, custom acrylic prints and more.
Their handmade canvas prints are produced in-house using top-of-the-line technology. The wood for the frames comes from eco-friendly pine forests to ensure sustainability.
