The kids and I always get excited for Halloween! My girls really enjoy helping me decorate the house and we always wind up whipping together delicious treats too. Today I’m putting a spooky spin on one of my all-time favorite desserts: s’mores. I’m making a Spooky S’mores Shake and this recipe packs a delicious flavor punch thanks to Torani Toasted Marshmallow Syrup.

As the weather starts to get colder around here, nothing is more comforting than a backyard campfire complete with homemade s’mores. However, today I’m showing you how to recreate that same flavor profile in your kitchen – in drink form! Growing up, my grandparents had a second house in the Poconos and we used to visit them quite often. Gathering around their backyard fire pit in the crisp, cold Pennsylvania air and toasting marshmallows together was always one of my absolute favorite childhood memories. That’s why s’mores will always hold a nostalgic place in my heart.

To start, we need to get some toasted marshmallows for the top of the drink. So I simply placed several on a baking pan and put it under the broiler for a few minutes. Easy peasy!

Meanwhile, I gathered the ingredients that are going to make the shake: Torani Toasted Marshmallow Syrup, vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, milk, brewed coffee. Did you know that Torani syrups are made with real, simple ingredients like pure cane sugar & natural flavors? I love that it’s a syrup I can feel good about!

I poured all the ingredients into the blender and processed until smooth.

Now it’s time for the fun part: decorating the mason jars! I dipped the rims of the jars first in some chocolate syrup and then in some crushed graham crackers. What a festive presentation!

Next drizzle some chocolate syrup along the inside of the jars in a random pattern.

Pour the blended shake carefully right into the center of the jars. I love that Torani Toasted Marshmallow Syrup really brings the toasted marshmallow flavor to life throughout these shakes. With Torani flavors, you can bring out the best in your beverages and make something uniquely delicious!

To prepare the marshmallow ghosts, I simply added a dab of icing onto the back of edible googly eyes and attached them to the marshmallows. Don’t the marshmallow ghosts look spooky…in a delicious way?!

Each Torani flavor can create a wide number of delicious recipes. The only limitation is your imagination! Established in San Francisco in 1925, Torani has stood the test of time, producing popular syrups & sauces for consumers for decades. I put the marshmallow ghosts right on top of my shakes with all the googly eyes peering outward.

I also love that Torani Syrups are so versatile and easy to use. You can add a spoonful to coffee, tea or hot chocolate to elevate an everyday treat.

This Halloween, bring your beverage game up a notch and use Torani to infuse an amazing flavor into your recipes. Find Torani Syrups online at http://www.torani.com.
