Who’s gearing up for the Big Game? We definitely are! Every year, we have some family & friends over for a little gathering to enjoy some sports, delicious food and great company! I already picked up all the snacks I’ll need for our Game Day gathering during a recent trip to Walmart. And for my dessert, I’m making these individually-portioned SNICKERS® Molten Cakes inside coffee mugs! It’s perfect because everyone can select the specific variety (Original, Peanut Butter or Almond) of the SNICKERS® FUN SIZE® Bars that they want in their Mug Cake! What a great way to personalize the dessert round! I can’t wait to show how this all comes together.

It looks yummy, right? Before we get to the recipe for the SNICKERS® Molten Mug Cake, let me first say that I have been so impressed by the Snack Stadiums that have been created this year! Now, let’s talk about those delicious SNICKERS® Molten Mug Cakes! I love that they have all the delicious flavors everyone loves about SNICKERS® candy bars: the roasted peanuts, the nougat, the caramel and the milk chocolate. And it’s embedded into a rich, moist, chocolate-y cake that can be made in a matter of minutes in the microwave. And with the three different varieties of SNICKERS® FUN SIZE® bars available (Original, Peanut Butter & Almond), you can customize the various SNICKERS® Molten Mug Cakes to suit everyone’s taste! Each person at your Game Day party can have their own cake flavor!! How fun!
Food for the Big Game
Here’s the simple recipe for making these SNICKERS® Molten Mug Cakes!
- 1-2 SNICKERS® FUN SIZE® Bars, chopped
- 5 tbsp. flour
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp. milk
- 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1. Add all the dry ingredients to a microwaveable mug.
- 2. Add the remaining ingredients, except the SNICKERS® FUN SIZE® Bars, to the mug and whisk well until fully combined.
- 3. Add half of the chopped SNICKERS® FUN SIZE® Bars into the batter and stir it in. Top the batter with the remaining half.
- 4. Microwave for about 3 minutes.

When you’re combining ingredients in the mug, use a fork or small whisk to make sure everything is combined evenly.

I microwaved my cake for about 3 minutes, but you may prefer to do a bit less. Make sure the cake is firm in the center and puffs up on the top.

When I was at Walmart picking up the ingredients to make these SNICKERS® Molten Mug Cakes, I also picked up other perfect Game Day snacks that I know all my guests will love! I brought home some SNICKERS® FUN SIZE® Variety and Skittles® XL to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth! As a savory snack, I picked up some TOSTITOS® Scoops Party Size and the TOSTITOS® Medium Chunky Salsa! And of course to quench everyone’s thirst, nothing is better than some Diet Pepsi™ 12 oz. 12 pack! Everyone at our party loves to grab a can of this soda!
