Ok, so with the new house, I have a lot of outdoor space… for the first time ever! So I am planting a lot of flowers and fruits and vegetables! I did have a bunch of those cheap plastic planters in a terra-cotta color, but they always looked so… well, cheap! So I found a way to spruce them up a bit and just make them look a little less plastic-y and ugly!

Here is the spray paint I used. It was like literally only a buck at Walmart! What a steal!

So I just laid the pot upside down on some cardboard in my open garage and got spraying. As usual, spray painting always looks best when it is done with several thin coats, rather than one thick coat. Thicker coats tend to cause drips and drops!

And here is the finished product… I think it looks a whole lot better! So much more interesting and pretty!
