Kiwi citrus ice pops
July 17, 2015This simple ice pop recipe is so delicious, and only requires a couple of ingredients. I like recipes that only have a few ingredients and only a few steps, don’t you? There’s something intimidating about recipes with a long laundry list of unusual (maybe hard-to-find) ingredients that just puts me off! Way off!
This recipe today only requires TWO ingredients. You can make these ice pops for a party or just any special day in the Summer. The bits of kiwi that peek through the ice really make this a fun, festive treat!
Kiwi citrus ice pops
Ingredients:
1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
2 cups lemon-lime soda
Directions:
1. Peel your kiwi and slice it. It’s okay if you wind up with more of a chopped kiwi. My kiwi was pretty soft, so it was difficult to make perfect slices. No worries, friends!
2. Place the kiwi pieces at the bottom of your popsicle molds.
3. Fill with the lemon lime soda.
4. Place in freezer for several hours until hard.
5. Take out and enjoy!
These are so much fun! My kids really loved trying to get to the kiwi pieces.
It’s a great way to cool off on a hot day!
Or really, any day that you’re craving a cold, sweet treat!
