Chocolate Almond Energy Balls
October 25, 2015Have you all jumped on the Energy Bites bandwagon?! It’s totally a thing now. These little bite-sized morsels are filled with lovely flavors and are so quick & easy to prepare, you’ll wonder how you lived without them until now! Trust me, they are that good! The recipe I’m sharing with you all today for the Chocolate Almond Energy Bites is the first variety I’ve ever made.
However, since then, I’ve made a number of other types. I simply can’t get enough of them! You will feel the same way, I’m sure!

Chocolate Almond Energy Balls
Ingredients:
1/2 cup slivered almond
1/3 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup dried dates
1 tsp. almond extract
1/4 cup cocoa powder
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients into the food processor.
2. Pulse until the mixture starts to come together.
3. Form them into small balls.
Try one! You will likely want another one soon after!

This sounds like a great way to start your day! I would definitely try to make these and snag a couple on the way out the door in the morning and see if it improves the commute.

Wow! These sound delicious. I’ve been more cautious to my snacks lately. I’ve noticed that some snacks give a quick boost…and then a big crash after so I bet this would be a perfect new snack to grab!
I love these because they definitely provide a more steady source of energy. It’s also great that they’re so portable! You can just grab a few to go in a small plastic baggie!

I’ve seen a few different energy ball recipes, but this is the first that I have seen a Chocolate Almond one. I need to add this in my recipe box for November snacks.
