Free graphic resources: patterns, wallpaper, fonts

I came across these sites the other day, and I just had to share it with my lovely readers. I found three websites that offer amazing, free graphic stuff for designers, bloggers, site owners, etc. Even if you don’t have your own blog or website, you can use some of these images and other files to put a neat background on your computer, smart phone, tablet, etc. Another idea is to use some of these graphic background images as a background in home décor projects.

I love these sites and can’t wait to use them in all sorts of projects in the future. I already snagged a nice, fresh background for MondoMom. 🙂 Ya gotta love a freebie!

The first of the three websites is Subtle Patterns and is where I got the pretty background image for the feature image of this post. It is called congruent pentagons and is available here. Subtle patterns has a ton of free background images and there is a Search feature so you can look for something specific. I love this site!

The second site is Freebies Bug and it has a little bit of everything. All of the fonts I featured in the feature image are from this site and it’s my new favorite source of cool fonts. I used Metria font for the title of the feature images and Blanka font for the subtitle. I also love Aqua Grotesque font and Falling Free font. This site also offers mockups, site themes, html code, and a ton of other useful resources.

The third site is Graphic Burger and it offers a range of resources as well. There are cool text effects, mockups, backgrounds, and icon sets. I found this amazing series of wood pattern backgrounds here and I love that these gorgeous backgrounds are free!!
