DIY Christmas Tree with Pearl Ornaments
December 8, 2014As you may have been reading recently, I’ve been making a whole bunch of DIY Christmas Cone Trees. I’ve already made this Christmas tree with scrapbook paper and this Christmas tree with rhinestone ribbon. Aren’t they pretty?
Today I’m sharing yet another variation on the beloved DIY Christmas Tree Cones. This one is a beauty, because it is littered with little pearls that perfectly resemble small, little spherical ornaments! Sweet! Here’s a sneak peek at the Christmas Tree with Pearl Ornaments!
And now let’s get to the tutorial to see how to make these little babies!
DIY Christmas Tree with Pearl Ornaments
Supplies Needed:
- scrapbook paper
- thicker card stock for the cone form (optional)
- pearl brads
- glue stick
Directions:
Insert the pearl brads into the scrapbook paper, spaced apart randomly to resemble ornaments placed on a tree. The brads are usually found in the scrapbooking section of the craft store, and these little brads have cute pearls attached!
Next start making a tree cone form. Use this Christmas Tree Cone Template. You can make the cone out of thicker card stock for more durability and strength, or you can make it directly out of the scrapbook paper.
Use the glue to adhere the edges of the cone together. Press the seam down so it stays together well. If you elected to make the cone form out of card stock, then don’t forget to wrap your brad-embedded scrapbook paper around the cone and adhere it together, as well.
Done! Pretty and oh-so-perfect for easy Christmas decor!
