DIY felt cookies
May 5, 2014After making my DIY felt lollipops yesterday, I wanted to share with you these adorable DIY felt cookies today. It’s such an easy tutorial, it’s almost comical. It shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to whip together these cute little beauties.
Ok, are you ready for this tutorial? It’s a breeze, I promise!
DIY felt cookies tutorial
Supplies:
- colorful felt
- scissors
- needle & thread
- hot glue & glue gun
Directions:
- Cut out two brown circles (equal sizes) and one white circle (smaller than brown ones). The white circle will become the icing.
- Hot glue the white circle onto one of the brown circles. Using white thread, sew the edges of the white circle down along the circumference of the white circle. Starting at the bottom side, sew small lines of bright-colored thread to form sprinkles.
- Start sewing the other brown circle to the one with the icing. Complete about 70% of the circumference and then stuff the inside of the cookie with padding (or cotton balls or scrunched up paper). Then complete sewing the circumference.
- Let your little one enjoy her new felt play snack!
I told you these DIY felt cookies would be easy peasy!
