Microwave chocolate cake recipe

If you’ve never heard that you can make single-serve chocolate cake in a coffee mug via the microwave, then you might be stunned to learn that it is indeed possible. And so convenient! No preheating the big oven and no making huge batches!

Check out this easy recipe for yummy chocolate cake in the microwave!

Chocolate cake in microwave recipe

  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 Tablespoons milk
  • 2 Tablespoons oil
  1. Mix the flour sugar and cocoa.
  2. Add the egg, milk, and oil and mix well.
  3. Pop in microwave and set it to 2 minutes. If the cake is still runny after the time has elapsed, then do 10-second increments until the cake is set.
  4. Top with whipped cream or frothed milk and some sprinkles. Enjoy!
