Save Time by Preparing Taco Fix-ins in Bulk: Taco Bar

December 5, 2011 1 By EngineerMommy

If you like tacos as much as we do, you know that the most time-consuming step in preparing tacos is cutting up all the ingredients. If you have to do that step every time you want a taco, you will not make tacos as frequently… or at least we wouldn’t!

Anyway, enough with our lazy ways and onto time-saving techniques! Get a large platter and prepare all your ingredients ahead of time in bulk. Here’s how it all goes down:

  • Cut and prepare all your ingredients: We used canned pinaepple chunks, canned black beans, avocado slices, chopped scallions, chopped cilantro, shredded rotisserie chicken, and lime wedges.

  • Lay out all your ingredients in a large platter.
  • When you are ready for a taco, grab one of these and assemble the quickest taco you have ever made!
