DIY felt breakfast food for toddlers: eggs, bacon and pancakes
March 10, 2013My daughter loves breakfast. She loves the typical foods. Eggs. Bacon. Pancakes. Cheese. Oatmeal. You name it. If it’s served for breakfast, she’s probably a fan. Therefore, it was a no-brainer that making her some felt breakfast food would be a huge hit. It’s sooo easy to sew these pieces of felt together and create realistic looking breakfast foods.
All you need is a nice stack of multiple colors of felt. And a little imagination.
Here is how I made felt breakfast food for my toddler!
- The eggs are simply composed of yellow circles and white curvy ovals. Simply start sewing the circles onto the center of the ovals and before you finish, stuff the interior of the circles with some newspaper and then complete the sewing.
- The bacon is simple composed of a red squiggly rectangle and a smaller white squiggly rectangle. Sew them together.
- The pancake pile is composed of multiple brown circles hot glued together. Then a brown star shape and a yellow square complete look, representing the syrup and pat of butter.
