I have always wondered what other women carry in their handbags, so I thought I would share what’s in my bag on a typical day. Of course the contents of my bag sometimes changes and you can occasionally find crumpled-up receipts or snack wrappers in there. However, I clean out my bag pretty much every day so this is what’s in my purse on a typical day.

Keys: I can’t leave home without my keys! I choose to keep my car keys on a separate key chain from the house keys. Did you spot my leather bow key chain and that Boss Lady key chain? Love those things- they always put a smile on my face.
Earphones: I always keep my ear buds with me, because sometimes I’ll want to listen to a podcast at the coffee shop so it’s super convenient to have these on hand.
Wallet: I recently got a new wallet that I’m loving: the Rosaire Long Wallet from Eva Leather. I totally love the light blue color.

On the interior, there is one large zipper pokcet and two large flat pockets. On the exterior, there is one pocket at the back. I love that there is so many organizational compartments so I can keep all my stuff neat and tidy.

Smartphone: My smart phone is always on hand, but I will sometimes put it in one of the outer compartments of my handbag. There’s nothing worse than hearing a ringing phone in the bag and not being able to find it, am I right ladies?
Hair Tie:
I can’t remember how many times I’ve found myself on-the-go with messy hair that I just wanted to put up in a ponytail. So I always keep a simple hair tie in my bag now.
Hand Cream:
Especially during winter, a moisturizing hand cream is a must-have to keep the skin on my hands nice and soft.
Lip Balm:
Just like hand cream, lip balm is an essential component of my winter purse. This one I’ve been loving is mango-scented and I swear it reminds me of summer.
Sunglasses / Sunglass Case:
I have a thing for sunglasses, so I always carry one of my fave pairs with me. I like to put them in this retro sunglasses case.
Cosmetic Bag:
I keep my on-the-go cosmetics in a small beauty bag. What I carry in there are some simple multi-tasking products: foundation stick, lip & cheek stain, makeup refreshing mist, face blotting papers, and matte lipstick.

It is funny how we wonder what other women are carrying around in their bags. I have a coach wallet that I love. Tons of room for all my cards and other stuff. Dividers for money etc.

I’ve never heard of Eva Leather but I’m always in the market for a new purse. My purse is full…of stuff. Granted it’s all “necessary” stuff. I mean surely you don’t expect me to go anywhere without my lip gloss, lipstick and my sunglasses. *smile*

That sunglasses case is too cute, and the bag is stunning. I try to keep what’s in my purse limited to essentials, but hate the process of changing bags.
