5 Lifestyle Tips for a Healthier 2023

I am currently practicing a vegan diet and I’ve really enjoyed coming up with creative, plant-based meals and snacks. Today I’m going to share some some other tips to lead a healthy lifestyle, including stress management, staying physically active, choosing smarter snacks like Gatsby Chocolate, and more.

2. Practice stress management: It’s important to keep everyday stress under control. Begin a practice of yoga, meditation, journaling or mindfulness to help you manage your stress levels. I’ve recently started doing yoga & meditation again and they have been so helpful for my mental health.

3. Exercise at least 4 days per week: For peak cardiovascular health, an exercise regimen of aerobic exercise several times per week results in the best results. Staying active on the other days (going for a walk, for example) is important too. 

4. Get enough sleep: Focusing on sleep every night is key for a healthy lifestyle, including optimal health. Create a bedroom environment that promotes good sleep, including setting a cooler temperature, going to bed at the same time every night, and not using electronic devices within a few hours of bedtime.

5. Eat the rainbow: A well-balanced, whole foods diet is key for ensuring adequate nutrition. By consuming a variety of colorful phytochemicals every day, we can maximize the health benefits of our diets.
