December 29, 2020If you’re trying to follow a low-carb diet or at least trying to reduce the quantity of carbs you’re consuming, this recipe will change your life. Ok, maybe that’s an exaggeration but this “bread” is amazing! I have tried quite a few keto-friendly bread recipes over the years but none of them compare to this one featuring a delicious, easy-to-make Almond Flour Focaccia Bread.
The texture of the final product is as close to real bread as anything I’ve ever made with one of the alternative flours. If you’re ready to kick up your bread game a few notches, test out this simple recipe today.
Almond Flour Herbed Focaccia Bread
Ingredients:
1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
1 ounce cream cheese
1 cup almond flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
dash salt
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place a piece of parchment paper on a baking pan.
2. Combine all ingredients in a high-powered blender and process until smooth.
3. Scoop batter onto the parchment paper and use the spoon to form little dimples in the batter. Optional: Top with some chopped herbs.
4. Bake for about 15 minutes, until the top of the bread turns golden brown. Let cool a bit.
This bread tastes amazing when dipped in an Olive Oil dipping sauce. To make this sauce, simply combine olive oil, parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt and pepper.
Fabulous! I made these during the holidays! Thanks. This recipe is a keeper.
Awesome, Dustin! So glad you enjoyed this! 🙂
