7 Easy Ways to be Healthier
December 5, 2019I’ve partnered with Source Naturals® as part of an Influencer Activation and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.
Everyday life can be quite busy and stressful at times, leading us to make poor lifestyle choices. However, with the right planning and a little common sense, it’s not difficult to stay on the right track when it comes to our wellness. From making healthy snacks convenient to taking Source Naturals® Wellness Formula®, check out these seven easy tips below!
1. Love yourself.
Who hasn’t been subject to negative self-talk at one point or another? Self-love is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Think about the answers to the following questions: How much do you love yourself on a scale of 1-10? Are you easy on yourself? Do you easily forgive yourself for mistakes? Start to think about ways to give yourself more slack and learn to accept yourself fully – flaws and all! If there are people in your life that don’t support a healthy self-image, think carefully about how you can change that so you’re only surrounded by people that lift you up!
2. Choose supplements wisely.
The right supplement can make a big difference in one’s health and well-being. I’ve been taking Source Naturals Wellness Formula from Walmart and I’m so excited to tell you a bit more about it today.
I love that Source Naturals Wellness Formula delivers high-potency vitamin C PLUS 25 key nutrients and time-tested herbs – all in one product! In fact, this was the first product to do so!
Now with the weather is getting colder I love that Wellness Formula helps to support one’s immune system – very important as we enter this time of year!
Wellness Formula contains a powerful combination of herbs, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, which have been specially formulated to support one’s well-being. What an easy, convenient way to make a positive impact on one’s health.
In a typical week, I visit Walmart at least twice. I pick up groceries, clothing, household essentials, vitamins and more from Walmart. So I love that I can pick up Source Naturals Wellness Formula from the same store. Did you know that Wellness Formula also promotes a healthier reaction to physical stress?* As a busy mom & blogger who is sometimes stressed out, this is a benefit that especially excites me.
There are many benefits of Source Naturals Wellness Formula, including helping to support immune health, promoting normal mucus production in your respiratory system, keeping white blood cells healthy from free radicals, promoting a healthy response to stress, and supporting a healthy respiratory system.* A daily serving is three tablets.
Yes, everyday life can be stressful, but with the right products on hand, it’s possible to Live Unstoppable®.
3. Breathe deeply.
Breathing… we all do it without thinking, right? Oxygen is vital for life – we know this! However, did you know that you may not be breathing properly? Many of use are taking breaths that are too shallow: breathing to only 1/3 of our lung capacity. To get the best performance, athletes are taught the correct breathing technique. A full breath is one, in which the lungs are fully filled, the abdomen expands and the shoulders are still. Practice makes perfect so give it a try!
4. Smaller meals are smart.
Multiple, smaller meals tend to be a smarter choice than fewer, larger meals. It’s easier for digestion since the stomach doesn’t have to over-stretch from a large volume of food. Also, don’t rely on external cues to determine when to eat – or when to stop. Listen to your body and start eating when you’re hungry – and stop eating when you’re full (or almost full.)
5. Switch to organic.
Choose organic when possible. Organic food is produced without synthetic chemicals, including pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Organic products do not contain genetically modified organisms and they are produced without irradiation, industrial solvents or chemical food additives. If you’re hesitant to make the full switch to organic, it’s wise to at least go organic with the following items: strawberries, spinach, kale, nectarines, apples, grapes, peaches, cherries, pears, tomatoes, celery and potatoes.
6. Make healthy snacks convenient.
Snack time can be difficult for those trying to make smart food choices. Get into the habit of washing and cutting fresh fruits & vegetables right when you get home from the supermarket. Skip the aisles of the supermarket with all the junk food: cookies & candies. Switch to snack options like fruits, veggies, yogurts, nuts and whole-wheat crackers.
7. Socialization is good for the soul.
A healthy social life is excellent for one’s mood and mental health. If you have a typical 9-5 job, you probably spend a lot of time cooped up in the office all day. On weekends, you are probably taking care of errands and running around. Make time to go out with your friends at least once per week. Enjoy the change of environment. When we are out with our friends, we feel part of something larger. A social network helps us feel supported and wards off loneliness.
Don’t forget to find Source Naturals Wellness Formula at Walmart both in-store and online. How do you lead a healthier life? Do you follow any of these tips? Is there another tip I may have missed?

These are all such great ideas to keep healthy and i always choose organic when possible. It is so important to maintain optimal immunity during the winter months.
You are right about choosing the correct vitamins. I take a couple because my B12 and V B are so low.
I try to do a lot of these. I am not much for socializing though. But I do read, which makes me very happy!
Adding a good supplement to my routine is definitely something I could do. I like the idea of making socialization part of your healthy routine too!
Great ideas/advice in your post. I usually take a one pill vitamin supplement, but I may have to bump it up with some other supplements.
These are all fantastic tips to try and keep. Takes a lot of discipline to be consistent I suppose. You are such a health inspiration.
These are definitely wise and coll advice for our body and soul. I should switch to organic food!
I have recently starting taking better care of myself and I am loving the results I am seeing! I also added supplements to my routine and I am liking them so far!
These are all such really good ideas. I know I could probably use more supplements myself. I’ll have to look for these ones.
My biggest downfall in the winter is drinking enough water! I am just not as thirsty when I am so cold!
Over the years I’ve stopped taking good care of myself. I need to change that while I still can. Thanks for the tips.
I am always looking to be healthier. When I hit my 30’s, I was even more aware of this. Thank you for these tips!
I need to find a great new supplement. I’ve been trying to get healthier by diet and exercise so I should add this next.
Such good tips! Not only is this time of year an easy time to over-schedule and stress, then top that off with less sunlight and more sugar, and it’s a recipe for disaster!
It is a great time of year to think about how to make healthier choices. We are a fan of Source Naturals, but I hadn’t heard of this supplement before. Will definitely have to check it out.
Great tips! It’s always important to watch what you put in your body. Thanks for sharing.
