What makes you smile? For me, there are a number of things that really bring a joy to my heart… those things that cause me to involuntarily feel content and satisfied. Today, I will share with you all some of my favorite things that are totally putting a smile on my face!

Putting a Smile on my Face

1. My Tea Collection: There’s no question about it. I am a fan of tea- hot tea, iced tea, lukewarm tea… ok, I don’t know about that last one! Anyway, my multiple mugs of tea every day definitely put a smile on my face. I love everything from sweet, fruity teas to spicy, earthy ones and everything in between. I have been building my collection for several months now and I finally feel like I have every tea I could ever want… at least for the next month! Sipping tea cuddled up next to the fireplace with a comfy throw definitely puts a smile on my face!

2. Being Creative: One of my passions is being creative and transforming something basic into something extraordinary. Over the last year, I have done so many fun projects. I want to make sure I continue to carve out time each week to do creative DIY projects. One of my favorite recent projects was when I used copper pipes to make a DIY Magazine Holder.

Another fun project was when I built this Rustic Chic Address Sign for our front door. I absolutely love the way this came out!

3. Our New Year Photo Cards: If you remember this post from about a week ago, I mentioned that I would be ordering some personalized photo cards for the New Year! And I asked you all to vote on your favorite ones. Well, I’m excited to share with you all which card I finally chose… I chose the Sweet & Simple one and we absolutely love the way it came out!
