Many of us started 2016 vowing to take better care of our health & fitness. Now that we are entering March, it’s a good time to evaluate whether we are still working toward our goals of being healthy & fit. It’s also a great time to assess whether we need to make any changes to stay on track with our goals. I’ve definitely been working out and eating balanced meals, but a little extra wellness inspiration is always a good thing! That’s why I was really excited to learn about Nature Made®’s 30-Day Healthy Habit Builder Program– it provides motivation and actionable tips to stay as healthy as possible.

How are you staying healthy? Here are some ways I try to prioritize my health & wellness.

  • Get regular exercise. The experts recommend getting at least 30-45 minutes of aerobic physical activity most days of the week.
  • Drink plenty of water. I usually bring a bottle of water with me whenever I leave the house, so I’m less tempted to purchase a sweetened beverage or soda. Around the house, I usually flavor my water with some citrus fruits or herbs to give it a bit more flavor.
  • Get enough sleep. With two young kids at home, sleep can sometimes be unpredictable, so I try to go to bed earlier in the evening to make up for unexpected interruptions in overnight sleep.
  • Consume fruits & veggies. Make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh fruits & vegetables. The fiber, vitamins and minerals are essential to your overall well-being.
  • Take vitamins. I love taking my daily Nature Made® vitamins daily because it’s an easy way to put my health first!
