One of my favorite family traditions has always been Family Movie Night! I love how convenient & fun it is to enjoy a movie together in our living room! We can pick any movie we want, start it whenever we’re ready, and enjoy it from the comfort of our sofa at home. When it comes to epic Family Movie Nights, great snacks are a must! So today, I’m sharing some of my favorite snack ideas for an indoor movie night at home. Whether you like savory or sweet, I have some snack options that are sure to satisfy everyone. Popcorn Bar, S’mores Dip and the Best Movie Night Ever

This free movie is perfect for our family, since we all enjoy Family Movie Night so much. Our family really loves Frozen so we recently streamed the movie on VUDU for free! Streaming movies on demand is so convenient! While my husband set up the movie, my daughters and I got comfortable on the couch.

The first snack I’m excited to share with you all is my S’mores Dip. This dip features all the lovely flavors of traditional s’mores made outdoors over a fire: roasted marshmallows, melted chocolate and Nabisco graham crackers. Here’s the simple version on how to make a delicious S’mores dip that the whole family will love!

Simply start by gathering the ingredients you’ll need: chocolate chips, marshmallows, milk and Nabisco graham crackers.

After you melt the chocolate in the microwave, pour it into a baking dish. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to firm up a bit. Then sprinkle the marshmallows on top.

Place this baking dish under the broiler for about 5 minutes to melt the marshmallows.

Paired with the Nabisco graham crackers, this S’mores Dip is delicious! Everyone loves this sweet snack!

The combination of crunchy graham cracker, roasted marshmallows and melted chocolate is lovely.

Another snack that everyone in our house always loves is Swedish Fish. Did you know that the 1.9lb bag of Swedish Fish is on Rollback at Walmart for only $4.48? I love a good deal! Plus, it features fun, new packaging: “New Look! Same Fish!” I set some out in a small bowl!

To make our movie night a bit more special, I decided to do something fun with the Swedish Fish! I simply printed out a silhouette a basic fish.

I cut it out and used it as a template on my serving dish. Then, I placed the Swedish Fish inside the fish template. It makes for a cool display: a school of fish in the shape of a fish! The whole family got a kick out of it!

Another snack that’s a staple of every movie night is popcorn, of course! But any ol’ popcorn just wouldn’t work! I wanted to make a fun Popcorn Bar. And it was so easy! All I did was set out bowls of various flavors of popcorn: white cheddar popcorn, butter popcorn, caramel popcorn and chocolate popcorn.

Next, I set out small cups with various toppings and mix-ins! I separated them into two groups: the savory toppings included parmesan cheese and hot sauce. The sweet toppings included Swedish Fish, Sour Patch Kids, chocolate chips, marshmallows and chocolate syrup.

Our Family Movie Night was a blast thanks to the wide variety of fun snacks I set out on the table. Everyone in the family loves being able to customize their snacks and so the Popcorn Bar was a lot of fun for everyone. And the S’mores Dip was a great way to bring an outdoors treat inside. Of course, the Swedish Fish display was also a really unique presentation that the whole family really loved!
