When it comes to getting the best start to my day, I always begin with a delicious, wholesome breakfast and a rejuvenating cup of coffee. Today, I will be sharing how to make a DIY Coffee Station with all the essentials to prepare a fabulous cup of coffee. Plus, I’ll be sharing how I build a better breakfast with some grocery staples from Walmart, such as Great Value 2% Milk, Del Monte Fruit & Veggie Fusions, and Lender’s Bagels. Together, these products make a better breakfast, providing a perfect combination of nutrients, vitamins and minerals!
Another reason we love these breakfast staples is that the flavor combinations are endless. Lender’s bagels are available in Cinnamon-Raisin, Blueberry and more! Del Monte Fruit & Veggie Fusions are available in different flavors, too, such as Cherry Fruit Trio, Peach Mango, and more. The ability to customize the flavor profile of breakfast is exciting! My kids love being able to personalize their breakfasts!

Speaking of breakfast essentials, have you heard of The Great American Milk Drive? It’s an initiative designed to provide gallons of nutrient-rich milk to those in need. There are thousands of people throughout the country who cannot afford to buy milk. However, you can help make a difference! By simply purchasing one or more of these products at Walmart, you can help Feeding America give milk to kids & families who need it most! Check out milklife.com/give for all the details.
So let’s start with making the tray for the coffee station! Making this tray is surprisingly easy. All you will need is some cabinet handles, a marble tray and some high-strength, all-purpose glue.
Now, simply use the high-strength glue to attach the handles to the top of the tray. Place them evenly on each end of the tray. Let the glue dry fully. Read the directions for your glue- mine required several hours for the glue to fully cure.
Now, it’s time to add adhesive protective foam circles on the bottom of the tray. Simply look for furniture protective pads at te store.
Now, let’s start gathering the materials that will go on top of our tray! These are the things that will make preparing the perfect cup of coffee easy and totally fun! I grabbed a set of glass salt & pepper shakers from Walmart and filled them with cinnamon and cocoa powder. Having these essentials on hand are sure to take that cup of coffee to the next level. I also filled a tall glass jar with sugar.
I also grabbed a set of colorful stirrers/spoons into an open glass jar. These will also sit on my coffee station tray to make preparing the perfect cup of coffee a breeze!
Now, it’s time to address coffee storage. Those bags of coffee from the store are quite unsightly. I simply pour my coffee grounds into a clear glass jar.
I also added a label and glittery ribbon (isn’t everything better with a bit of glitter?) to make it look even cuter!
Finally, some coffee-themed subway art is an easy way to add a little fun to the coffee station! To download this for yourself, please click here. Simply print it out, cut along the solid lines, and place inside a 5″x7″ frame.
Now, let’s put it all together. How cute is this coffee station? I love that it’s all on a tray, so I can easily move it around from my kitchen to my dining room to the patio, as necessary! It has all the essentials I need to prepare a delicious cup of coffee!
My daily cup of coffee helps me start my day in the best possible way. In order to fuel myself for the day’s adventures, I always have a wholesome, delicious breakfast in the mornings. During a recent trip to Walmart, I picked up some essentials to make a fabulous breakfast: Great Value 2% Milk, Del Monte Fruit & Veggie Fusions, and Lender’s Bagels.
Lender’s bagels are an easy, filling solution for breakfast. They sustain my kids all morning! We love that it comes in three different tasty flavors: Plain, Blueberry and Cinnamon-Raisin! They’re all kid-friendly & delicious for the whole family.
Did you know that Lender’s has a bagel for everyone? Everyone in my family has a favorite flavor!
Look for Lender’s bagels in the refrigerated dairy section of your local Walmart store! See for yourself why these bagels are time-saving, delicious and nutritious!
We also love Del Monte Fruit & Veggie Fusions; it adds a delicious fruit element to our breakfast! Did you know it’s the only fruit cup product that offers 1 serving of fruits and veggies in a single cup? You would never know this, since the veg is in the juice! These fruit cups are a delicious, wholesome snack that’s perfect for breakfast or any time of the day!
Each bite is bursting with fruit and vegetable goodness. Look for these specially marked Del Monte Fruit & Veggie Fusions packages on the shelves at Walmart and keep an eye out for valuable coupons! If you see the Peach Strawberry variety, be sure to pick it up- it’s a new flavor that has been available in store since the spring.
I also bought Great Value Milk 2% from Walmart. I love the goodness of milk, as it’s naturally nutrient-rich! It features 9 essential nutrients, including 8 grams of protein per 8 ounce serving. Milk is essential to ensure that kids have the ability to play, learn and grow all day long! Personally, I love drinking a glass of milk in the mornings- it gives me the fuel I need for my day! Of course, I also use plenty of milk in my coffee! 🙂
Did you know that there are children throughout the country that don’t have access to milk? You can help! Join Feeding America in The Great American Milk Drive and nutrient-rich milk will be delivered to hungry children and families! In fact, over 14 million servings of milk have been delivered to food banks through this innovative mission! Isn’t that amazing?! Here’s what you can do: Purchase one or more of these products and help provide nutrient- rich milk to those in need. Visit milklife.com/give for more details.

I. LOVE. THIS! My daughter and I have been trying to get up a little earlier to enjoy a cup of coffee before heading out to work and school. I end up making my coffee to go and I put hers on the stove for her to enjoy before leaving for her bus. And I love Lenders Bagels. Great post and I’m stealing your coffee station idea!

Your coffee station rocks and I like those bagels a lot. We’re going to have to pick some up.
What a super cute idea, I will have to try to make this.
We also keep all of our coffee “needs” in the same area as the coffee maker. I actually have dedicated the bottom shelf of the cabinet just above for the coffee supplies. One stop coffee 🙂
This is a really cute coffee bar. During the work/school week breakfast is quick. The kids get something before they leave home but they eat a quality breakfast at school.
On the weekends I get to really do it up right.
A beautiful idea of having a movable coffee station at home. A good one to try at home 🙂
