Fiesta Lime Fried Fish Tacos
July 30, 2015A few days ago, I made these amazing tilapia filets with Fiesta Lime seasoning. It was such an easy recipe and such a fabulous way to bring a little more excitement to a plain fish filet. Today I will show you how I took those Fiesta Lime filets and used them to make amazingly flavorful Fish Tacos!
Fiesta Lime Fried Fish Tacos
Ingredients:
2 Fiesta Lime tilapia filets
2 flour tortillas
1 avocado, chopped
3 scallions, sliced
juice of 1 lime
3 tbsp. chopped cilantro
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup salsa
2 tbsp. sour cream
Directions:
1. Prep the scallions, avocado and cilantro. Squeeze the lime juice over the avocado to keep it from browning.
2. Spread the sour cream onto the tortillas.
3. Add the tilapia and cilantro to the tortillas.
4. Top with the avocado, scallions, cheese and salsa. Optional: Add some hot sauce if you like your tacos spicier!
This was such an easy recipe that is very satisfying, very delicious and fairly low in fat. I had a fish taco at a local restaurant recently, and absolutely fell in love with the flavor profile. I am proud to say that I believe I recreated the lovely flavors of that fish taco here today!
I hope you try this and love it as much as we do!
Even my kids loved holding the tacos and eating them up!
