Fall Floral Wreath DIY
September 9, 2015I love wreaths and I love making them! It’s a fun way to gear up for a holiday or season, and since Fall is my favorite season, I especially love making Fall wreaths. This tutorial today is going to show you how I made a (very) simple wreath that features Fall flowers in a gorgeous asymmetric design!
The flowers for this project were picked up from the dollar store, while the wreath form was picked up from Hobby Lobby (on sale for just a few bucks)! So this whole project cost me very little, and I gotta tell you: I am in love with this wreath! It’s so simple but it’s also elegant and very festive!
Wanna make one for yourself? Here’s the easy how-to!
Fall Floral Wreath DIY
Supplies:
wreath form
flowers in Fall colors (I picked up some burlap flowers and some berry-topped stems)
floral wire
hot glue
Directions:
1. Pull off the flowers from the stems. I just did this for the burlap flowers, since it would make it much easier to attach the flowers to the wreath using hot glue.
2. Using floral wire, I placed the berry-topped stems on the wreath in an asymmetric shape as seen in the below picture!
3. Use hot glue to attach the individual burlap flowers to the wreath in between the berry-topped stems.
Done! This wreath is ready to be displayed! Isn’t it cute? I placed it on my back patio door right above my DIY Painted Door Mat!
Excited for Fall? There’s more to see! Just click on the pics below to go to that post!
