With Halloween right around the corner, these easy-to-make candy corn shapes only require paint chips & glue. So simple and so adorable!

Simply pick out paint chips in the typical colors of candy corn and then line them up in order: white, yellow & orange. Draw a triangle with rounded corners that spans all three colors. Just like I did below.

Cut out the shape and then place a small bead of glue along the overlapping edges. Let dry.

Tip: A few of the corners started to curl up. All I needed to do was place a large weight on top of the candy corn shape (I used a hevy pan) and it flattened the shape perfectly.

What can these babies be used for, you ask? Plenty of options, my friends… plenty of options!

  • Strung on a wire for festive Halloween decor
  • Labeled with guest names for a sweet place card on the table
  • Hung up in groupings as Halloween wall art in a child’s room
  • Used as a festive sign (reading “Trick or Treat”) near a bowl of candy on Halloween

The possibilities are endless. This is such a basic craft, it’s perfect for young kids to help. Younger kids can help glue the edges together, while older kids can help cut out the shape. Either way, a kid of any age would love their very own candy corn shape labeled with their own name!

It’s such a quick and easy way to brighten up and personalize your Halloween season!
