Garlic Lemon Asparagus RecipeDecember 31, 2014
Happy New Year, friends! I can’t believe 2015 is here! Is it just me or has 2014 flown by! 2014 has been such a wonderful, yet busy, year around here. We listed our home FSBO and successfully found a buyer who is willing to pay more than we thought (or hoped) was realistic. We are also excited to have found a new home (with a nicely sized backyard for the kids) in the same town. My blog has taken off and is receiving more traffic, more sponsorships and more engagement than ever! Yay! Thanks everyone! Sophia is loving her preschool and Charlotte is getting bigger and more talkative every day. It has been a happy year and for that, I am grateful!
I wanted to share with you all an easy, delicious recipe for an asparagus side dish. Flavored with the lovely flavors of garlic, lemon and parmesan cheese, these asparagus stalks are tender and so flavorful! This recipe is a wonderful addition to any party meal plan, or even an easy weeknight option, when you want a delicious side dish recipe to whip together quickly.
Let’s get to the recipe, shall we?
Garlic Lemon Asparagus Recipe
- 1 bunch of asparagus stalks
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
- juice of 1 lemon
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
Heat up the olive oil in a frying pan. Add the minced garlic and heat for 5 minutes until soft and translucent.
Add the asparagus and heat up until they are cooked, about another 7-9 minutes.
Top with the parmesan cheese and lemon juice and continue until all ingredients are heated thoroughly.
This looks so delicious! I found your lovely blog on the Thursday Favorite Things blog hop. I also wanted to invite you to the Great Blog Train (blog hop) – we are traveling to GREECE this month!
Thanks for stopping by, Angie! I will check out your blog hop! Have a great weekend!
