Iced mint green tea

April 20, 2012 0 By EngineerMommy

I love a cold, refreshing glass of iced tea on a hot summer day. And this recipe for iced mint green tea is a favorite of mine!

Iced mint green tea

  • 2 sprigs of mint
  • 1 green tea bag
  • sweetener, to taste
  1. Pour boiling water over the tea bag and let steep.
  2. Add some mint to the cup during the last few minutes of steeping to infuse mint flavor into the drink.
  3. Remove the tea bag and mint. Sweeten to taste.
  4. Refrigerate the tea to cool and add some more mint as garnish.

I make this tea by the pitcher and leave it in the fridge for quick and easy access all summer long. And since green tea is full of healthy antioxidants, it’s really a guilt-free drink!
