This elegant puree is perfect for budding little foodies. You will surely develop a refined palate in your little one with a puree such as fennel and apple. The sharpness of the fennel perfectly complements the sweetness of the apple. This can be served alone or with rice cereal as a thickener.

Fennel & Apple Baby Puree Recipe:

  • 1 fennel bulb, chopped finely
  • 2 apples, chopped finely
  1. Steam both the fennel & apple for about 5-7 minutes, until they are soft to the touch.
  2. Then puree them both in the food processor or blender until the desired texture is achieved.
  3. Add a little breastmilk or baby water to thin the mixture.

This puree can be refrigerated for a few days or frozen for up to a month.

This puree is appropriate for babies over 7 months old.

Always consult with your doctor about the introduction of new solid foods to your baby.
