When it comes to a home office, organization is key. Having worked from home for several years, I have found a number of basic organizational tools essential to my success. Today let’s chat all about desk organization!

1. Ledge Wall Shelves

I love the idea of hanging a ledge shelf over the desk. It makes the perfect spot for storing some important papers or other desk knick knacks. These acrylic ones are so cute!

2. Pegboard

Nothing beats a pegboard when it comes to function and form. There are so many colors and sizes available on the market today. You can hang so many things on a pegboard so everything you need in a given workday (I’m looking at you, scissors & tape & pens) are within close reach. Check out this adorable one.

3. To-Do List

I don’t know about you, but I am practically the Queen of To-Do Lists. Okay, I just gave myself that title but it’s definitely earned. 🙂 Keeping track of daily tasks is easier for me when I can see them all laid out in front of me. Check out this sweet notepad here.

4. Clear Desk Tray

Ok, acrylic is big this year.. actually, it’s huge! Get on the acrylic train by adding one of these chic trays to your desk. It makes the perfect spot to corral your most-frequently-used desk supplies.

5. Drawer Dividers

Do your desk drawers become a catch-all for anything and everything? Cause SAME! However, with a set of simple drawer dividers, I can have a much more tidy desk space AND it encourages me to keep unnecessary clutter to a minimum. Win Win! These adjustable ones are SWEET!

Do you have any of these items in your home office?
