I have known my husband for quite a long time. In fact, we were high school sweethearts. Yes, we have been together for almost 15 years now (we’re in our early thirties). One thing that has been pretty constant about my husband’s look over the years is that he loves to rock a beard. Today, I will be sharing some smart grooming tips that every man needs to follow. My husband recently tried The Perfecter: Beard Boss Stubble and Detail Kit from Walmart and it has completely transformed his morning routine.

My husband works in a professional field, where he really needs to look well-groomed every day. Without the right tool on hand, his beard can get quite unruly. Luckily, he recently tried The Perfecter: Beard Boss Stubble and Detail Kit and it has made it so easy to keep his beard looking neat & trim. The Remington Beard Boss Perfecter Stubble and Detail Kit is available at Walmart and on Walmart.com

5 Essential Grooming Tips Every Man Needs to Know

1. Groom Facial Hair: If your man rocks a beard (like mine does), make sure he follows the following general guidelines for best results:

  • Trim regularly. It’s important to trim the beard often to keep hair growing at a regular rate in the right direction.
  • Wash the beard. Yes, trapped food, dirt, and debris can make a beard quite dirty. Encourage your man to wash his beard every day in the shower.
  • Use a beard oil. Beard oil can help tame unruly hairs and add some shine to an otherwise-dull beard.
  • Use a comb to detangle beard hairs. It’s much easier to trim the beard when all the hairs are detangled.

We recently tried The Perfecter: Beard Boss Stubble and Detail Kit. This all-in-one kit has everything my husband needs to create a perfect-looking beard.

This kit comes with so many different attachments. The Precision Metal Comb locks in a particular length for a beard that looks perfectly neat. There are five different snap- on combs, along with a foil shaver (perfect for shaving the neck and jawline).

Now that he is nice and groomed, he looks so much more professional and ready to start the day. In addition to grooming his facial hair, here are some other important steps in my husband’s regular routine.

2. Exfoliate: Even men need to exfoliate their skin regularly. There are exfoliating products designed just for men and these should be used at least once weekly to ensure skin is smooth and free of dead skin cells.

3. Moisturize: It’s important for men to moisturize their face every day. My husband sometimes skips this step, but it’s a quick, easy step that makes a big difference.

4. Trim Nose Hair: What is it with men and their nose hair, am I right ladies? Trimming nose hairs should be definitely an essential step of every man’s regular routine.

5. Clip Nails: Fingernails and toenails need to be trimmed on a weekly basis. My husband is usually pretty good at keeping up with this step.

I hope these tips have inspired you to encourage your man to follow these basic grooming habits. Be sure to look for The Perfecter: Beard Boss Stubble and Detail Kit at Walmart and Walmart.com.

  1. My husband is a military man, so no beards here, but that sounds like a great way for men to keep beards in check. No one likes a grizzly beard on a guy.

  2. That’s a great tool! My husband will grow a beard every once in a while and he has an old trimmer from lord knows when. It’s old. I’ll have to look and find this one because it looks like it does an amazing job and that it’s simple to use too!

  3. My husband is a professional and travels all the time. Very important he always looks well put together. Using the right tools is a big plus. Tip men shine your shoes yes people notice.

  4. I’m not a girl who likes the fuzz. My husband is always clean shaven and I love the touch his smooth skin.

  5. I can see the difference in the before and after pics. This sounds like an amazing tool for all guys to have and I love that it has a long battery life.

  6. This looks like it would be a great gift for my husband. He has been using the same trimmer for years and it’s past time to replace it.

  7. These are great grooming tips for men. I know my husband has a routine since he is bald but has quite a beard!

  8. Great grooming tips that I will have to share with my husband! Love the comparison between groomed and ungroomed beard!

  9. Men can be so bad about not moisturising. It is so bad to let your skin dry out!

  10. Definitely great tips for guys. Important to stay groomed! I like a neat beard line and hair line.

  11. These are all great grooming tips. I will be sure to pass these long to my husband.

  12. I get needing to trim the nose hair. I just think that given my allergies it’s one of my most sensitive areas and hard to get in there with a trimmer and not find myself sneezing all over the place. This is the second place I have learned about beard oils. I had never heard of them before this week and you are the second person to tell me about them. I suppose they must be essential. I never asked my friends with beards what they did for upkeep. It was just hard growing my own.

  13. I need to get something like this for my husband! He wears a beard most of the time and it would help keep it nice!

  14. This is exactly what my husband needs in the bathroom. I will check it out for him. It would be a good Father’s day present.

  15. These are really great tips! We just actually picked up this same product the other day. Works great!

  16. I will get this kit for my son. He started growing his beard but when it started to look unruly, he shaved it off. He can now let his beard grow back once I give him this grooming kit.

  17. Both my husband and son have been rocking a beard for some time now. I need to invest in a beard boss for both of them. I think if it is groomed a little better I might not have as many objections.

  18. Wow, nice, I am sold. Nice job this trimmer, with the help of your hubby, did. I know what my hubby will be getting for Father’s Day. Thank you!

I Love to Hear From You!
