Super soft marbled play dough
July 6, 2015I came across a recipe for making your own play dough that doesn’t require any cooking. And unlike my previous attempts at making play dough, this one doesn’t require salt, flour, or water. Nope, for this play dough, you have to head to your bathroom and pick up a bottle of … (wait for it)… conditioner!
Yes, this recipe uses hair conditioner to create a homemade play dough that is very soft and silky and moldable. It’s such an easy recipe and all you need is 2 ingredients!!
Super soft marbled play dough
Ingredients:
1 part conditioner
1 part corn starch
a few drops food coloring (optional)
Directions:
Simply mix equal parts of the conditioner and corn starch together in a small plastic bowl. Stir together until uniform consistency results. Add the food coloring, if you like. Knead it into the dough thoroughly until combined. You will get a pretty marbled effect!
Make a whole batch using different colors. If you mix multiple food colors into one batch, you will get a cool marbled rainbow effect!
