BBCrafts review & a DIY fall vase craft

A few weeks ago, I was contacted by BBCrafts to do a review of some products from their site, so I naturally clicked on over to check out some of their products. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! They have so many unique and high-quality ribbons, fabrics and tablecloths. They also sell various wedding supplies, including runners, tiaras and sashes. Flameless LED candles and LED lanterns are also part of their offerings and I was so excited to receive one flameless LED candle for review! BBCrafts.com was established in 2000 as a leading retail and wholesale company for ribbons, tulles, wedding supplies and party favors. They are located in California and are known for their excellent price and high-quality merchandise.

So here is what I got in my package from BBCrafts:

• Canvas Ribbon with Wire Edge in Chevron
• Organza Ribbon with Gold Edge in Blue & Red
• Flameless LED Candle

The LED candle is packaged in a sturdy box, so it is perfect for gift-giving.

I installed some batteries in mine and set it up on the table. It lights up so beautifully- it actually flickers to mimic a natural candle flame! This candle would be perfect to place in the window at nighttime. Imagine if all the windows in the front of the house had one of these adorable candles flickering away – it would be so charming! It’s also a wonderful gift idea for someone special.

The Canvas Ribbon with Wire Edge in Chevron is such a contemporary, trendy ribbon. Chevron is everywhere these days and this ribbon incorporates this motif with a white and dark gray pattern. The wire edge is perfectly stiff enough to make bending the wire easy, but it still holds its shape once it is formed. This ribbon would be a lovely way to decorate cakes, invitations, dresses, bouquets, hair bows, wreaths and more. If you want different colors, be sure to check the selection on the website, as they have a HUGE variety of different ribbon patterns & colors.

The Organza Ribbon with Gold Edge is a chic ribbon featuring a sheer organza center and gold edges along the border. Just like the Canvas Ribbon, the Organza Ribbon has wire edges that easily hold their shape. The organza ribbon will make all your crafts, projects and decorations come to life! I’ve also found that the prices offered on BBcrafts are very reasonable and their shipping times are fast. Plus, the benefit of shopping online is there is no need to wait on line at a store, no need to deal with traffic and no need to walk all over a store looking for a particular item. Their website is logically organized and it is easy to find exactly the type of item you’re seeking.

Finally, the last product offered to me for review is their Bling Diamond Rolls. These were truly spectacular! Seriously, the pictures online simply don’t do it justice. There is so much sparkle that emanates from this soft, flexible ribbon mesh covered in sparkly rhinestones. This product has so many possible uses, I will probably be using this one for many years to come. You can make a glamorous wreath by wrapping this Bling Diamond product around a foam wreath. You can wrap cups with this product to add a chic touch to your glassware. You can wrap bouquets with this product to make a ho-hum bouquet look stunning.

I got the Bling Diamond Rolls in red and gold – beautiful Fall colors. So I decided to wrap a plain glass vase with alternating colors of red & gold bling diamond ribbon. Here is the plain vase I started with.

I cut the ribbon to fit the circumference of the vase with an inch of overlap. I used a few dots of hot glue to secure the seam of the ribbon and to secure the ribbon to the vase. I continued wrapping the vase using alternating colors.

Here is the finished vase.

I placed some sweet yellow flowers inside and now I have a glamorous vase decoration that reminds me of my favorite season of the year- Fall!
