DIY washi tape magnets
July 20, 2015These magnets will take very little time to make, but they are oh-so-adorable. I love using washi tape on just about everything I can get my hands on. With all the different patterns and colors available, isn’t it so much fun thinking of new ways to spruce up items around the house?

I’ve used washi tape in the past to spruce up DIY bracelets, lamp shades, clothespins, dollar store succulents, and cute shower ring wreaths. I’ve collected such a large amount of washi tapes over the years, that I’ve needed to devise a method of organizing it, and I love my washi tape organizer and storage unit.
All you have to do for this craft is stick some washi tape on magnetic strips, trim the excess and stick it on a metallic surface! Easy peasy! Let’s get to the details, shall we?

Supplies:
washi tapes, assorted colors & patterns
magnetic strips
scissors

Directions:
1. Pull apart your magnetic strips, so you have individual magnetic rectangles.

2. Peel a strip of washi tape and stick it onto the magnet. Trim the excess with a pair of scissors.

4. Repeat as necessary! Admire your craftiness!

They make my refrigerator just look happy!

And that makes me smile! My daughters also are in love with them by the way! I can’t blame them; these lil babies are colorful and fun!
