DIY chalkboard labels to organize coat closet

March 10, 2013 0 By EngineerMommy

I picked up these sheets of adhesive chalkboard at Marshall’s the other week, not really knowing what I would do with them. But I knew I had to have them. Anyway, I realized our coat closet could use some organizational labels.

I had these drawers to store hats, gloves and scarves, but things always seemed to get a bit messy. Especially when someone (other than myself) would go get a scarf and then put it back in the wrong drawer. So I figured I would make it easier by labeling the drawers with their contents so all could clearly see what goes where! I used the chalkboard sheets to write out the categories, stuck them on, and now our coat closet stays organized! Perfect!
