My Five Favorites of June

1. Iced Tea:
When the temps rise, there’s nothing better than an ice-cold glass of tea! I’m a huge fan of tea and enjoy it throughout the year. However, during spring and summer, I generally stick with iced teas. This blackberry iced tea is a new variety that I recently tried and loved!

2. Flower Garden:
What is it about spring that makes me want to tend to the garden? Seeing all our perennial flowers blooming once the weather warms up always puts a smile on my face. I love watering the garden and pruning the overgrown plants. I love planting new species and fertilizing the lawn. I really enjoy everything about my garden in the spring.

3. Light Skincare Solutions:
As the weather warms up, my skin generally gets more sun exposure. So I like sticking with products that support a healthy, non-toxic lifestyle, such as OSEA Malibu.

The first product I tried from them is their Ocean Cleanser. Perfect for normal or combination skin, this cleanser is rich in minerals and leaves my skin feeling clean & refreshed. I love that it also contains juniper, cypress, jasmine and seaweed. It has a lovely delicate scent, too!

Another product that I fell in love with is their Sea Vitamin Boost. This mist is rich in antioxidants and brightens skin for an instant burst of freshness. Containing pomegranate, resveratrol, and madder root, this mist is sure to boost your skincare regimen. I like to spritz some all over my face in the morning and throughout the day to refresh the makeup.

I also had the pleasure of checking out their Atmosphere Protection Cream, which is a lightweight moisturizer that protects against environmental toxins.

The OSEA Malibu Skincare line is natural, non-toxic, vegan and free of gluten, GMO, petroleum and parabens. It’s a family-owned business since 1996. I really love that they divide all their products according to skin type, so you are sure to find a product that’s suited to your individual skin condition.

4. Ice Cream:
One of the simplest pleasures of warmer weather is indulging in some delicious, frozen confections. A cone filled with soft-serve ice cream is such a simple pleasure of spring. It’s something that my daughters and I enjoy on a regular basis during the warmer months. After all, it’s about enjoying the moment & living life to the fullest.

5. Outdoor Picnics:
My kids are always up for an adventure. And sometimes, that adventure is just enjoying a picnic in our own backyard. When the weather cooperates, it’s totally fun to set a blanket right on the grass and enjoy sandwiches on our lawn.

Now that I’ve shared my favorites, I’d love to hear from you? What is putting a smile on your face these days? How do you take care of the skin during the warmer spring and summer months?
