Quick Thrifted Stand Update

July 20, 2016 1 By EngineerMommy

I have a quick update post for you all today! I recently picked up a thrifted stand for my older daughter’s room! I loved the shape of it- it tucks into a corner perfectly! I also loved that it had pencils as legs! My daughter is absolutely in love with making artwork, so I knew this stand would be perfect for her!

Cute, right? I knew I could make it fit into her room a little better. If you remember, I’ve done a lot of DIY projects in her room: painted the wall with a heart stencil, updated her dresser, made this sign, made this sign and made this dollhouse! The first thing I did was paint the pencils of the stand with a light pink color!

Next, I painted the shelves of the stand with a purple color that matched her wall perfectly.

We love the way it came out. Here it is in her room holding all of her treasures!

It really is such a cute addition to her space and wound up costing close to nothing! I love a bargain project with mega impact!
