The holiday season is definitely one of my favorite times of the year. I love it all: spending time with family, listening to festive tunes, decorating the house, and coming up with tasty treats in the kitchen. Today I’m going to share the recipe for a fudge that combines two of my favorite flavors: peppermint and cookies & cream. This fudge, which is made with just a handful of ingredients, comes together quickly and has a rich flavor thanks to Torani Cookies & Cream Sauce from Walmart.

Especially as a kid, I used to look forward to the Christmas season all year long. There are so many fond holiday memories from my childhood. I distinctly remember driving around the neighborhood with my parents just to look at all the houses beautifully decked out for the season. I also remember leaving cookies & milk out for Santa every single Christmas Eve – and being delighted with joy to discover that he ate/drank what we set aside for him. Now, as a mom, I try to make this time of year just as magical for my daughters too and whipping up yummy treats like this fudge is a surefire way for us to fully embrace the holiday season. To get started, gather the ingredients required: 4 tbsp Torani Cookies & Cream Sauce, 4 cups white chocolate chips, 4 tbsp butter, 2 16-oz containers vanilla frosting, 1/2 cup crumbled chocolate sandwich cookies, 3 tbsp crushed candy canes, peppermint extract and red food coloring.

Melt the white chocolate chips & butter in a medium saucepan, stirring often until fully melted. Remove from heat and place the mixture in a bowl. Add the vanilla frosting into the bowl and incorporate until combined & smooth throughout. This is the base of our fudge for both layers; next we will customize each layer individually.

Divide the mixture evenly into two separate bowls. In one bowl, add Torani Cookies & Cream Sauce and the crumbled chocolate sandwich cookies. I found Torani Cookies & Cream Sauce at Walmart right in the cocoa aisle.

Once combined, pour the mixture into a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Use a fork to create a marbled effect on the top surface of the fudge. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to chill.

While the bottom fudge layer starts to firm up, let’s work on our top fudge layer. In the second bowl, add peppermint extract, red food coloring and crushed candy canes to the remaining batter. Stir to combine and then pour it right on top of the previous layer of fudge.

Sprinkle additional crushed candy canes on top.

Put the whole tray back in the refrigerator for another 30 minutes for the top layer to get firm. I’ve always believed that candy canes are reminiscent of the Christmas season so this fudge is perfectly festive to me.

Use a sharp knife to cut the fudge into squares. Since Torani flavors mix well with other foods, it’s so easy to really bring out the best in my drinks & my desserts… in such a unique, tasty way!

From the side, it’s easy to appreciate the dual layers of this fudge. The peppermint layer boasts a bright pink color and the unexpected crunch of candy cane chips. The cookies & cream layer offers a superbly rich flavor and is embedded with big chunks of chocolate cookies.

The versatility of Torani Cookies & Cream Sauce cannot be beat; there are so many ways to incorporate it into your drinks & desserts. Even drizzling it into coffee, tea, cocoa, etc is an easy way to boost the flavor! Plus, Torani offers other sauces to create even more recipe profiles. Talk about options!

So festive and so flavorful! This fudge is the perfect solution for holiday treats, holiday parties and holiday gifts. Each bite is so rich! How will you incorporate this fudge into your holiday season?

Established in 1925, Torani has been offering a wide variety of syrups and sauces for almost a century. The company uses the best ingredients, such as natural flavors and pure cane sugars in their products. The result is a flavor that’s rich and bold! This fudge was such a hit with my whole family and I’m certain I’ll be making many more batches in the coming months.

Look for Torani Cookies & Cream Sauce at your local Walmart store right in the cocoa aisle. Do you enjoy fudge? Have you ever made it at home?
