Time-Saving Tips & $300 My Gift Stop Giveaway
March 2, 2018This is a sponsored post written by me for My Gift Stop. All opinions are mine alone.
Nowadays many of us are on-the-go from morning until night. It may sometimes feel like there is not enough time in the day to get everything done. Today I will be sharing some of my best time-saving tips for busy moms. From using the right apps on your smartphone to shopping online (I’m loving the selection at My Gift Stop), keep reading for my best tips.
Time-Saving Tips for Moms & a $300 Gift Card Giveaway
1. Shop for groceries once a week!
Avoid the temptation to stop by the supermarket several times throughout the week. To save time, begin visiting the supermarket once a week. To make that trip efficient, plan your meals ahead of time and bring a shopping list. Skip the impulse purchases along the way and stick to your list.
2. Shop online!
One way that I like to save time is to shop online. I recently discoered My Gift Stop, which is an online shop that sells luxury goods (watches, bags, jewelry, shoes, fragrances, sunglasses and more) at affordable prices thanks to direct relationships with manufacturers. I love that the site is committed to giving back to the community. They actually donate 5% of each sale to the global medical relief nonprofit, Direct Relief. I love that this site cares about important causes!
My Gift Stop, started in 2002, originally sold fine watches from the world’s most popular brands. Over time, My Gift Stop expanded their offerings and is now leading the way for socially-responsible gifting. When you gift through their site, they donate! Easy peasy!
I have browsed through the site many times over the past few days and found great gift ideas… like this gorgeous watch for under $100. Perfect for my mom on Mother’s Day!
Or this fabulous Kate Spade bag that I know my friend would love for her birthday in a few weeks!

Note: Rules for the giveaway are at the bottom of this post.
3. Multi-task during your commute!
Do you sit in traffic every morning? Maybe you take the train and have an hour-long ride each way? Use that time to your advantage. Consider getting an audio book and playing it in the background. If you are not driving during your commute (you take the bus/train), consider bringing your laptop along to get work done.
4. Use apps to your advantage!
Technology holds a bigger role than ever in everyday life so use it to your advantage. With banking apps, you can check your balance and transfer funds on the go. With grocery apps, you can apply coupons and check the circular conveniently – regardless of where you are. With schedule apps, you can keep track of your family’s appointments and events from your phone at any time.
5. Delegate tasks!
As moms, we want to do everything all the time. However, there is only so many hours in a given day. Don’t feel like you can’t ask for help. Recruit the kids to help with age-appropriate chores around the house. Have your children help clean the play room, organize their bedrooms, load the dishwasher, set the table, etc. Have your spouse fulfill his/her share of the household duties, too.
Now I’d love to hear from you. How do you save time on a daily basis? Do you follow any of these tips for yourself?

Grocery shopping for a week or two, or even a month for certain items, is something that can save time, energy and money, Last minute trips to the grocery store are more expensive and always seem to interrupt an already busy schedule.

I miss seeing people wear watches, you hardly see that these days. I love that watch too, it’s a beautiful accessory.
I don’t usually shop online because I need to try out the items first before I buy, However, when I do shop online, I choose businesses that give back or donate part of their proceeds to a charitable institution. I think I will check out My Gift Shop soon. My sister’s birthday is next month and i will have to get a gift for her.
