1. Put small collectibles on display!
My older daughter collects Shopkins and Num Noms. We simply installed a shelf right into the wall to display all her little collectibles. Not only is it easy to find the specific toy one is looking for, it totally doubles as adorable wall decor. Win-win!

2. Use small containers to corral art supplies!
We do artwork here every day. We love these small containers in various colors & patterns from Target for keeping everything art-related under control. We have separate containers for crayons, markers, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, oil pastels, and more.

3. Use decorative hampers for larger items!
I love to get larger containers, like these hampers, from Home Goods to corral various larger items, such as stuffed animals or play sets. It looks cute (as long as it’s not over-filled- see the picture). Also, please pay no attention to the dolls missing clothing – my kids love to undress the dolls.

4. Store food together with the playset!
We have a lot of play food so we keep that inside the play kitchens that we own. This way, when they’re ready to play the cook, they have everything they need in one spot.

5. Place coloring books in magazine holders!
I love using magazine holders (from Walmart or Dollar Tree) to store their huge collection of coloring books and art pads. This way, the whole pile doesn’t get messed up when they’re looking to color in Sofia the First!

6. Find ways to display stuffed animals!
My daughter loves Beanie Boos, so she came up with this storage idea. She placed them all in a row on top of her headboard. It’s totally cute and serves to add a bit more visual interest to that wall. Plus, it keeps the stuffed animals off the floor, which definitely makes Mom happy!

7. Put books on a picture ledge!
I love keeping books on a picture ledge. We bought these ledges from the store, but I made something similar once that can totally be used to display and store a wide variety of books. I love that this method makes it easy to find any book you are looking for at a glance!
