DIY Leave-In Hair Conditioner
April 30, 2016I have quite a fun little DIY for you all today! Now with the weather getting more humid around here, frizzy hair is a common everyday problem! And since my daughters have very thick, curly hair, the frizziness can get out of control at times!
That’s why I need to have conditioner on hand at all times. In large-scale bottles! Ha!
Today, I wanted to show you a little hack I created to keep my daughters’ hair nice and smooth and frizz-free all day long! It’s a really simple idea that uses stuff you probably already have in your house right now!
To make this DIY Leave-In Hair Conditioner, you only need two things… and one of those things is WATER! So it’s a really easy little solution you can make in no time! And it works remarkably well!
DIY Leave-In Hair Conditioner
Mix approximately equal parts of conditioner and water in a spray bottle!
Slap on a cute label on your bottle and comb the solution through the hair.
This is a fabulous way to keep my daughters’ & my own hair in check even on the hottest Summer days!

You weren’t one bit kidding when you said it was easy to make. Will be telling daughter with curly hair daughter. Grand daughter has her Dad’s thick curly hair. This daughter got her Dad’s and my thin straight hair.
Doesn’t get terribly humid here in western CO (Grand Junction area) but does get quite hot in summer.
We’ve lived in very humid climate in KY so know how awful humidity can be, even made my hair all squirrely. Had many days with 100% humidity and 100 degrees temps. No a/c in that house, at least had ceiling fans thru-out house.
Great idea making leave in conditioner, hope it helps yours and kids hair. My 3 oldest kids have thick curly hair and in their teens it drove them crazy in San Diego. They got their hair from biological Dad. Should I be lucky to have thin straight hair? Kinda.
Have great weekend
Yes the humidity can be so tough on the hair. Both of my daughters got their curly hair from my husband. It’s gorgeous but it can definitely be challenging to maintain. Have a wonderful weekend, Jane Ellen, and thanks for your comment!
