When the weather gets cooler and we get deeper into the Fall season, I just find myself gravitating toward plaid. Whether in home decor or fashion, a pretty plaid pattern just makes my heart pitter patter! Some may even say I’m Mad for Plaid! I don’t deny it- I embrace it! The LISTERINE® bottle outfitted in plaid is definitely sophisticated and elegant, if you ask me! But I love plaid and will add a bit of plaid to every space of my home! Do you guys want a quick tour of how I’ve incorporated plaid into my home for the Fall? Let’s first start in the kitchen. I love my plaid kitchen towels during this time of year! They just elevate the whole cooking experience!!

Moving over to the dining room, take a look at my plaid serveware! I have a ton of plaid bowls and plates, and I love to set them out on my burlap runner and fill them with healthy snacks, like grapes and sunflower seeds. In this way, when I get hungry throughout the day, I can grab a nutritious and satisfying snack- and also smile at my pretty pops of plaid on the dining table!

Even my daughter’s playroom is not exempt from my love of plaid! I incorporated some pretty pails with pink plaid on their art center wall. By filling these small pails with markers, crayons and colored pencils, and also leaving a pile of colorful papers nearby, I can create a super-practical spot for them to do their artwork!

My home definitely feels warmer and cozier when I incorporate some plaid into my home decor! In addition to plaid pillows and plaid throws, I made this simple plaid sign that says “Happy Fall.” I display it on one of my hallway shelves! Oh, and when Fall rolls around, I’m always wearing a fun scarf! My go-to Fall uniform pretty much consists of boots, some skinny jeans, a basic T-shirt and a cozy, comfy scarf! It is hard to get into fall for us in South Florida. I bet if I get mad for paid I could plunge right away 🙂

I love that plaid is back- I have always had a soft spot in my heart for it, though I wore it more as a statement when grunge was in. Now I definitely have a better style and love incorporating in in my home and wardrobe.

Fall definitely does scream out plaid, this is so neat, we use Listerine but have yet to see the plaids, my boys will enjoy this in their bathroom, nice change!
