5 Ways to Affordably Upgrade Your Kitchen

3. Paint the walls.

Painting a room’s walls is always a fun way to spruce up any space. Consider painting your kitchen’s walls for an easy way to make over the room in one afternoon. We painted our kitchen a few years ago and it was one of the best updates we’ve made to the room.

4. Update the counters.

5. Paint the cabinets.

If your kitchen has cabinets with an undesirable finish, consider painting the cabinets. We painted our kitchen cabinets when we moved in because the original cabinets had a maple finish and that didn’t go with our design style.
