As a mom & full-time blogger, my days are usually spent running around taking care of the kids and tending to my business. My evenings, on the other hand, are my special time to focus on myself. Part of my evening routine involves paying a little extra attention to my skin & hair. From using Pond’s Charcoal Face Wash to putting my hair in braids, I’m sharing my evening beauty routine today.

I recently picked up Pond’s Charcoal Face Wash from Family Dollar and I’ve been really enjoying it. Did you know that Family Dollar offers the same high-quality beauty brands that you already know & trust? These products are already offered at great everyday prices at Family Dollar, but with the new Smart Coupons, it’s possible to save even more money!

Now let’s get right to my evening beauty routine, shall we? Let’s start with the hair.

1. Apply a homemade hair mask.
Conditioning and moisturizing my hair is especially important during spring & summer, when my locks are bombarded by UV rays and chlorine water regularly. A homemade hair mask that I have really enjoyed many times involves mixing some olive oil and mashed avocado. Simply spread throughout the hair and slip on a shower cap for ~20 minutes. Rinse out and style as usual. This combo usually leaves my hair shinier & more manageable than ever!

2. Use Pond’s Charcoal Face Wash.
No beauty routine is complete without a good face wash and this Pond’s Charcoal Face Wash has been a go-to since I bought it. After a long day, my skin yearns to be cleansed of makeup, dirt and oils. This face wash delivers the premium clean I expect from Pond’s products at a very affordable price at Family Dollar!

I tend to gravitate toward more natural products so I love that this face wash is made with pure, real ingredients. I simply squeeze some into my hand. Notice the gorgeous charcoal gray color!

Also, this formulation creates such a fabulous foaming action. Perfect for completely removing a face-full of makeup!

The activated carbon charcoal is effective at carrying away impurities and removing dead skin cells… both at the skin surface and deep within pores! It is definitely my go-to solution for clean skin after a long day!

Activated charcoal has become such a popular ingredient in beauty products recently – and for good reason! A lot of consumers are realizing the power of this ingredient in their personal care products.

In addition to activated carbon charcoal, Pond’s Pure Detox also contains vitamin B3. If you’re looking for a new face wash, check out this Pond’s Face Wash today and uncover your natural radiance!

3. Put hair in braids.
When it comes to easy steps that have big impacts, this one is a no-brainer! I love putting my hair in braids before bed. By morning, I have effortless, gorgeous waves. I probably use this trick at least 3-4 times per week. Bonus? I don’t have to subject my locks to any extra heat styling!

4. Put socks on lotioned feet.
Now that it’s sandal-weather every day, I want the skin on my feet to be as soft as possible. One trick that I like to use often is slather the richest cream I can find on my feet and then put on a pair of socks. I’ll sleep like that and by morning, the skin on my feet is super hydrated.

5. Spray some lavender on the bedding & sip chamomile tea.
When it comes to beauty, don’t underestimate the power of a good night’s sleep. To help myself wind down and have a restful night after a long day, I like to spray some lavender on my pillows & sheets. The scent is totally calming to me! Also, I really enjoy drinking a chamomile tea in bed – the simple act of sipping it helps me clear my mind.

I hope these tips have inspired you to create a beauty routine for yourself.
