The BEST Smooth Sweet Tea
- 1 pinch baking soda (secret ingredient!)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 3 tea bags
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 3 cups cold water
- Start by sprinkling a pinch of baking soda into your pitcher.
- Add the tea bags and pour in the boiling water.
- Steep for 20 minutes.
- Discard the tea bags.
- Stir the sugar until it’s dissolved. Add the cold water.
- Refrigerate the beverage until chilled.
This recipe is a definite keeper at our house. It’s an easy way to enjoy some nice, ice-cold tea during the hot Summer months! I usually have a pitcher of it in the fridge at all times.
